U can find there everything: shops, coffee, internet, night clubs, all locals and tourist in one big crowd. It hosts concerts and open-air movies, but best with the shining start above u at night and a glass of cold prosecco in ur hand

Locarno's central square. Central spot of the Locarno International Film Festival, which I visited in 2009.
During the Festival it serves as an open-air cinema for nearly 8000 people, creating a great atmosphere.

finally car-free zone with annual concerts and famous film festival, very beautiful spot in the heart of town, close to the station, great cafés and shops!

Besucht ein "Moon and Stars"-Konzert auf der Piazza! R.E.M. und Alicia Keys waren schlicht grossartig und unschlagbar!
