You should go at dawns to enjoy the sun setting , the Muezzin voice and the sea breeze. It's no far from Tartous. The Crusaders, the Phoenicians, Romans and Greeks have passed by it. You can see the remains of the Crusaders fort and walk along the narrow streets where you can see children swimming and running barefoot. It's said that St Paul had visited it.

only 3 km from Tartus, this is a beautiful island with narrow streets and a fortress. locals enjoy the little cafes near the harbor.
