Al-Hamadiye souk is an old souk in the heart of Damascus . It’s a long cobblestone street that dated back to the Roman times. Along the street there are two-story shops. I have never seen such a crowded and noisy street. Vendors selling cold drinks try to offer you a drink to fight the heat.
