It was beautiful, it's got Maasai guards so you pay 1000TSH to get in and basically do whatever you want, it's so secluded. Dar Es Salaam is so stressful with all the touts, this is the perfect place to relax. You get the ferry to Kigamboni and a dalla dalla (good luck! ;D) to Mikadi Beach.

This is a good spot for a cheap place to stay as well. There is a campsite called "Mikadi Beach" and a handful of other backpacker / overland focused spots too. Depending on weather you may ant to grab a beachside hut. The ferry ride over is great fun too!
