Oct 13, 2009 It really depends on what time of year that you go. (We live here so we are a little more picky.)We went here last year during the raining season, the landscape was beautiful with rolling green hills and flowing rivers, but we really didn't see many animals. A lot of elephants and few giraffes but that was about it. We went again last week (in Oct.) and it was completely different. We are in a drought at this time, so all the animals that live around the park have come into the park now. There were so many animals I can't even describe it. We even got to see a lion run and jump up in a tree to relax, and another set of lions laying around. Everything we saw was absolutely amazing. (although not very green) The other great thing about this park is the roads are not as bad as some of the other parks. You don't get thrown around in the car. This might be beneficial if you have small kids (like we do) or if you are older, or have a bad back. - Just a thought.
