This innovative open-air museum recreates a number of historical Thai structures including palace halls, temples, stupas, sanctuaries, and villages all populated with inhabitants carrying out their work and daily chores as they would have hundreds of years ago. As such, it is an excellent place to learn about Thai architecture and history. Visitors will need a private car to navigate around the 280-acre outdoor museum.

A nice day outing. Bring a hat, camera and water. Very relaxing
a quiet spot right in Bangkok. You can rent a bike if you like and wander be it on foot or bike or in a taxi ( On a hot day the Air conditioning is nice in the cab but not as fun) at your leisure along the paths. You will not be disappointed.
