Bangkok is huge and amazing, you cannot name only one place to go...Of course there are a couple of places that you can't miss, as the Royal Palace or Chatuchack MArket ...even the Paragon Shopping Mall is awesome, specially thanks to the air conditioner in the hot wet days walking around the city, good place to cool down and restart the walk. Anyway, to sleep, the funniest area to go is the backpacker neighborhood, near the Royal Palace and the National Museum...there are a couple of "almost" pedestrian streets where you can meet everyone from everywhere, buy souvenirs and clothe, eat on the street or in different kinds of restaurants, have a drink and also go to dance a few metres from your accommodation...is realy multicultural and safe!

Incredibly busy and the air is so hot and so polluted, but it is a must see! I would go again. Dont miss the royal palace. The food is amazing. ...Dont drink the water... Unless it is bottled
