The Dusit Zoo is not a particularly large one, but it does have a number of rare animals such as Komodo dragons and the little seen Sumatran Rhinoceros.

In addition to those, there are also the typical zoo animals such as elephants, hippos, and giraffes. Elephant rides are offered at the zoo.

My son and I had a great time on a morning visit. The zoo had some interesting animals. It was clean and the animals appeared well cared for. I enjoyed walking around with the Thai visitors and had several good conversations. It was nice to see that there were lots of children on field trips having an obvious good time. We also found the WWII Bomb Shelter very interesting. Overall, a great morning outing. Good journeys!

The day I was there, they took the elephants out of their pen and walked them around the zoo. They fed them in the open and let them go into the lake for a swim. We were allowed to pet them
