Stadium
The stadium is the most famous Thai boxing stadium in the world.  Fights are hosted on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings.  There are usually 10 boxing matches in an evening, each comprising five three-minute rounds.  Ritualistic music precedes the matches as the boxers honor their teachers and the sport.  The most anticipated matches are uysually the last in the evening.

I had always wanted to go and see a muay thai fight, but had never made it.  The last time I was in Bangkok I finally made it and it was really really fun. Not nearly as violent as I thought it would be and the stadium is fairly tiny. We sat in the third class seats with the riff raff and the bookies. i loved watching the chaos and betting.
