About Wat Sao Thong Thong
Despite having been restored on several occasions, these temple ruins are in poor shape. One of it's realier restorations ordered by King Narai involved converting the windows of its central wihaan to an oddly out-of-place Gothic-style so that the temple could be used as a Christian Chapel. Naga (mythical serpents) and Buddha images can still be found in niches along its walls.

These ruins are located in the heart of Lopburi's old town center and is easily accessible by foot.
