First formed in 1981, the Sri Nakarin National Park covers an area 1,532 square kilometres in size.  Among the features are large forested tracts, the starting point of the Kwae Yai river, a reservoir to the north, a number of waterfalls, caves, hotsprings, and limestone mountains.

Wildlife in the park include an array of birds, the leopard cat, civets, squirrels, and more.

Specifically, the most popular features are:

Huay Khamin (Huya Knamin) Waterfall is one of the most powerful and most spectacular waterfalls in Thailand.  The waterfall splits into two streams, and cascades down multiple levels that are then collected into deep pools that are excellent spots for swimming.

Phatat waterfall is another beautiful waterfall.  It is located along route number 323.

Khaoen Sri Nakarin Viewpoint is a lookout point for the Sri Nakarin reservoir.  The dam can be explored by boat.

Neramit cave is a dome shaped limestone cave that features many stalactites and stalagmites.

Phra cave was once a hiding spot for Thai soldiers.  It features a Buddhist image inside.
