King Taksin Park
About King Taksin Park
This park is dedicated to King Taksin, and houses a large bronze statue of the king protected by four of his royal guards (the Taksin Mahathat Memorial). The park also has a large pond at its center where a great variety of fish have been introduced. The pond's two islands are accessible by bridge, and the park istelf is a very pleasant and relaxing place to take a walk or enjoy a picnik.

This park is located on the southwest end of Chanthaburi's downtown area between Thanon Raksakchamun road and Thanon Tha Chalaep. It is well within walking distance from all other downtown attractions.
