Walking street is a nightlife district located at the southern end of Pattaya beach. It is called "walking street" as the street is closed to vehicles during the evening hours (roughly 7 PM to 2 AM) and open only to pedestrians. The "street" which encompasses some adjoining alleyways known as soi's is chock full of bars, restaurants, discos, strip clubs, and street vendors. Some of the bars and discos stay open until dawn. This is the central party spot in Pattaya.

Very exiting place to walk and drink and club at night :) I recommend the MOON club - not expensive and pole dancers there were AMAZING!
The only minus, for me, is that there's to many Russians in there so most of ppl offering you a show in there will just show you a paper with something written in Cyrillic ;)

really amazing...completely a different climate, culture, atmosphere..taxis are unique, you travel open air..people are always smiling, helpful and very respectful....seeing the Alcazar Show is a must..night never ends..P.S. yes, it is famous for sex tourism but, it doesn't mean everything. If you miss other beauties around, you miss a lot..

This place is unlike any other place in the world! It is party central. I came here during songkran (Thai New Year) and the whole city has been engaged in one big waterfight. If you come for the nightlife, the beaches, the bargain shopping, or the excellent local food and thai culture....this place is definately worth checking out.

This is definitely a must see when travel to Thailand.Most of you will find this a little disturbing when see all the young Thais working in the massive sex industry of Pattaya but it is the everyday picture so
be prepared for that.Other than that there is not much to see in this small town.

The highlight of Pattaya. A dull and sleepy street in the day transforms into a colourful beast at night. Plenty of bars and restaurants to keep anyone entertained for nights in a row. Not to mention ultra cheap alcohols.
