I did a three days trek in the jungle around Chiang Mai. It was a great experience. It started with elephant riding (take care the make you wet at the water hole). Then trekking first night sleeping at a village. Second night you will sleep in the jungle near a waterfall. It was freezing at night. Before finish you will do bamboo rafting on a small river... I had to stay on the boat... well until I fall off ;) But while sitting people get wet anyway so it doesn't make a difference either way. It's worth it!
