This is the most popular temple in Chiang Mai. It houses the highly revered Lion Buddha (Phra Singh) its main wihaan. This image supposedly comes from Sri Lanka, and has been moved around extensively. The architecture of the temple is classic Lanna style, evidenced by it's main stupa's octagonical base.
