This Wat consists of a high-walled enclosure containing an enormous Buddha statue peering out of its opening.  The Buddha's right hand points down to the ground, taking the earth as witness when he had resolved the problem of cessation of suffering.  This hand is covered in thin gold leaflets left by locals paying homage to the statue.
