Great little island in Thailand, white sand, clear water, without the hustle and bustle of ko samoi or phuket. and only 5 or so hours by bus from Bangkok. also has relatively cheap bungalows, that are right near the beach. At night be prepared for fire dancers and other local entertainment on the beach while you sit on drinking $3 margarita bucket (yes buckets!) great for a relaxing time.
