Although less popular than Hat Chaweng, this beach is considered by many to be more beautiful. Its waters are a clear blue-green, and its southern region has some interesting granit boulders and rock formations including the "Grandfather and Grandmother" rock formations.

Nice place, both to have rest fun. Not as crowdy and loud as its bigger sister Chaweng, which is easily reached by taxi in 10 min if you want to have more nightlife lady-boys shows, but still there is what to do both during day and night time.
White sand, clear sea and stunning rocks surrounding the beach.. A little peace of paradice!

I loved my trips to Koh Samui. Chaweng is the biggest city and is very touristy, but the island has many little villages that are not so touristy and are very nice. The beaches are pristine. Great scuba diving there as well.

lamai is a amazing beach with loads of small nice beachrests and chill out places..but after the sunset...the party starts on the beachroad...until sunrise...a rec for everybody who likes to enjoy bothsides of thailand
