Aug 20, 2008 Ever seen these pictures of exotic beaches? You must think to yourself: too expensive, too far, impossible for me. Nothing is further from the truth. Just pack your bag and hit the road (and the see) to Ko Tao. Find yourself a nice resort (reservations are adviced), not too expensive, and enjoy a week or two of this 'picturesque' beach. Take your snorkling gear with you - or hire it there for a low price - and explore the shallow coral bay. I've had the luck to see a shark passing by, though it scared me a bit at the moment itself. Oh, don't forget to buy a coconut, or drink a mango smoothie. Sep 6, 2009 My oldest son and I found this to be a great place for a swim: Beautiful and inviting! Although, we didn't stay here, the lodgings in the area looked like that would have been a good choice. Good Journeys! Dec 12, 2008 Nice beach and if you're in to see some sharks (white tip reef sharks) this is the place to be! Don't worry, they don't bite, or so they say ;o) Feb 1, 2011 Great Place to go snorkelling and it's possible to see black tip reef sharks! Great fun getting there too if you rent mopeds - bit of "off-roading"
