This park cover an area of 646 square kilometers harboring thick rainforest, mountains, impressive cliffs, caves, stunning waterfalls and a lake with several small islands.  The park has some great trails following the banks of rivers, and is home a great variety of animals including elephants, tigers, sun bears, leopards, deer, guar, civets, dusky langures, wild boar, serow, and banteng.  It also harbours over 150 species of birds, as well as wild lotus (Rafflesia kerri meyer), the largest flower in the world.  This flower has no roots of its own and lives parisitically on jungle vines.  It's football-sized bud blooms between the months of January and February, emiting rotten meat-like stench to attract pollinating insects.

This park has several restaurants and lodging options including camp grounds. It is connected to 2 other naitonal parks (Kaeng Krung and Phang-Nga) and 2 additional wildlife sanctuaries (Khlong Saen and Khlong Nakha), forming a 4000 square kilomter area of continuous wildlife preserve, the largest in the south of Thailand.

Travel to Khao Sok , you have to go to
Ratchapapar dam. It is not convenience but so buautifil.
Waterfall is simple.
From my view, Khao Sok is not quite interesting.
But there are lots of grate tourist attraction in Surat Thani.
