Harbour Island is essentially known for two things; the absence of cars (bar all the golf carts used instead) and the Pink Sands Beach . When I first heard about the beach I thought that it would at most have some kind of pink hue when the sun set or something, but the beach is actually pink! The send is mostly made up of crushed pink seashells, lending the beach a natural pink colour.
