Paradise Island is beautiful. It is right across the way from the actual city of Nassau, but it is much cleaner and nicer. The Atlantis is located on Paradise Island and it is one of the most gorgeous hotels. It has an amazing water-park on the premises. It also has an aquarium. The Atlantis dominates much of the island. There is the Marina Village which consists of shops and restaurants. It has places to grab a quick bite as well as nice restaurants. This is also the best place to go swimming. The beaches are very nice, but tend to get a bit crowded. I would recommend taking a taxi or water taxi. It is a long walk. If you go to Nassau, Paradise Island is a must.

Lots of shops, gambling and expensives restaurants--not so much for me. However, the BEST part of Atlantis is their amazing aquarium, and the best part of that: the jellyfish rooms, with walls of irridescent jellyfish under black light. Why can't I have a bedroom like that?! I'm not sure if this still holds true, because it's been a few years, but you used to be able to bypass the exorbitant fee by going to Atlantis at night (post dinner time) and sailing on into the aquarium for free (when everyone else is gambling or eating).

Beautiful!! If you can't afford to stay here though check with surrounding hotels... We got a deal where we could stay at the cheaper hotel but get passes to enjoy all the benefits of Atlantis like all the water slides and other fun things! It is a sight to see so don't miss it if you are in Nassau!

SOOOO gorgeous, I visited there when I was on a cruise, it was amazing. the ultimate resort! It has everything you could possibly want in a hotel/resort and more. I was definitely impressed and would go back there in a second. Very expensive but fun for couples, singles, families, etc.

There is so much beauty to appreciate at this resort so much detail and thought has gone into this resort in order ot make it one of the best! You dont have to stay there in order to enjoy the resort, just buy the day passes and explore the aquariums and aqua-parks :D
