Maracas Bay, the Trinidad's most popular beach along one of the most scenic coastal routes on the island. It just a nice play! you should try to eat Bake 'n Shark, the food which is practically synonymous with Maracas. This is the point to start hiking to Maracas' Falls, only departs every tow saturdays by the month. Be on the lookout for red flags signalling dangerous current.

As a boy living in Trinidad it was one of my favorite places to visit and swim with my family and friends, still think of it after all these years of living in Canada last seen it back in 1966 a very long time ago.

Trinidad isn't really known for its beaches but Maracas Bay is a good stretch of sandy beach over the hill from Port-of-Spain. There are several bake-and-shark kiosks all along the beach.
