After spending the week before in Libya, where the ruins of Sabratha, Leptis Magna and Cyrene are absolutely spectacular, I was not as impressed by the ruins of Carthage. If you havent been lucky enough to visit Libya, or you are an archeologist, i am sure you will be impressed by these sites.
The most impressive one I thought was the water storage area. The best thing about the site is the panoramic view of Tunis.

Absolutely stunning. Situated in a very nice neighbourhood of a vibrant city with the flair of the Mediterranean Sea only 30 minutes away from the city centre. Your Greek and Latin lessons will come alive here! Plan at least a day to see everything. Definitely worth a trip!
