Al Ghariba Synagogue is located in Djerba. It’s one of the oldest synagogues in North Africa . It was built in 586 BC (French architecture) after the destruction of the 1 st temple (erected by Samon) under the rule of Nabukhandos of Babylon. There are 2000 Jews in Tunisia . A lot of pilgrims visit this temple yearly.
