This area is a dream for photography, its nice for a coffee, but the shops reflect tourist prices. 7 TD for a cappacino!!
There is a nice beach area at the bottom of the hill, near the boat area, and its easily accessible by metro, about a 20min walk. If you arent staying here, it is well worth the trip for the day from Tunis.

Gorgeous town located on a hillside above the Mediterranean Sea with all the buildings painted in a blue and white scheme. While you're here, be sure to try the fried pastry (similar to a doughnut) as this was the only place where we found them!
Comfortable shoes are a must as there is a lot of walking on hills.
