Kalkan is one of the best holiday destinations I've ever been to. It's not so touristy that you feel like you are still in the UK but it's still easy to navigate as a tourist. You can expect to see the cultural things that you can't find in Marmaris. The people are incredibly friendly, there's a never ending list of places to go and things to see, and the scenery si absolutely breathtaking!

How exactly do you describe this? Well worth the visit, submerge yourself in mud then stand in the heat of the sun while the mud turns to concrete on your skin (an exaggeration obviously!) then go for a swim in the sulphur pool for really soft skin, don't mind the smell!;)
