in general you have to keep your expectations to Turkish beaches low. Ladies Beach is not a good beach. Turkey is however a wonderful country, with amazing food, fantastic people, and an array of sights to see. If you want good beaches in Turkey, you need to go to turtle beach near Dalyan, or to Incekum by Gökova. Also Ölüdeniz near Fethiye, is worth a visit, but for the sight it is, not the quality of sand.
