This "cave town" was dug out from the highest rock out cropping in the area - you can't miss it.

This ancient "cave-town" is pretty impressive, but after seeing a number of other man-made cave dwellings and churches in the area, I was a bit disappointed.

Fortress of Uchisar's been made by the nature. At the top, you have a beautiful oversight on the whole region. It's the symbol of Uchisar.

Great view from the top of it.  Don't forget to check the restaurant in the lower cave, especially when not in the tourist season :)))

A group of us went up to the top right before sunset. The lighting was just beautiful on the surrounding rocks and village.
