The boy on the dolphin is the symbol of Gulluk. According to the myth, the dolphin loved the boy very much and they played in the water every day. One day the boy drowned, and the dolphin went to the shore to die together with the boy.

The statue is so beautiful, especially if you know about the story that lies behind it. You can find it on the dike in front of the sea.
