Apr 1, 2009 There is a lot to do in this part of Istanbul. The unique thing about this place is that you truly can see how the locals live. The fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge are recommended, you can either sit down at a restaurant or have a sandwich 10sec-ago-caught-fish to go! You can find the Yeni Cami at a glance and of course the Misir Çarsi (Spice Bazar). Not to forget Sultan Ahmet cami, the Topkapi Palace and Aya Sofya. After a long day sight-seeing you can relax in the tremendous park nearby Sultan Ahmet Mosque which is similar to Central Park in NYC, only here is more groundlevel difference for the wilder imagination. This city is a must see! Sep 29, 2009 Great part of Istanbul, nice place to find a hotel and there are locations of many of the best Turkish delight shops in this part of town as well if you don't want to buy something at the Bazaar. Easy walking distance to all the major attractions of the old part of Istanbul. Aug 5, 2008 From the harbour you can see the gold horn and all the minarets of the city's mosques, and you can get a delicious fresh fish sandwich from the fishermen's boats! Jun 8, 2008 Naja, di blaui Moschee u d Hagia Sophia haut.. u natürlech no di angere historische Sache.. Git gnue i däm Stadtteil
