Ah the old Galata bridge... I've visited in 1991 before it collapsed . you could feel the movement of the bosphorus under your feet as this was a floating bridge, and the lower level of the bridge was full of restaurants, it was difficult to escape from there...

It's a great place to sit and drink tea while smoking a water pipe and watching the ferries go in and out.
