The old Diyarbakir city, inside the city walls, has kept most of its charming appeal. This is where you will find Meryem Ana Kilisesi (Virgin Mary Church) and the Suryani Kilisesi - both still operating. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because all this history is not very well maintained.
