Our visit to Massandra Winery on 1st October 2010 fulfilled all my expectations from this historic place. not only are the cellars still in first class original condition, several floors deep into the ground and tunnelled into the mountain but the tasting, in specially designed rooms were very well organised to show all the current production. A minor problem that no credit cards accepted in the shop, otherwise a memorable visit. Philip Goodband MW

If it is open, you should go. The port wines are awesome. The tour provides historical relevance to Ukraine and Russia.
