Jumairah Road, is one of most popular places to see when you're in Dubai. It's a part of the city where on the one side you can see locals neighborhood and their houses (which btw range from cottages to xxl villas with pools) and on the other side all the tourists spots such as hotels (Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach, Mina Salaam, Madinat Jumeirah complex etc) , Wild Wadi water/fun park, Dubai zoo, Jumeirah Beach Club. And range of different world couisine in large variety of restaurants with one recommendation: try Miramin, lebanese restaurant with more than affordable prices right across Jumeirah Beach Club. If you want to take a picture in fornt od Burj Al Arab, go to the public beach right near Jumeirah Beach Hotel, but be careful; if you're western female get used to non-discrete staring by Paqi and Hindu labourers, who during their lunch brake visit the beach just to see naked female bodies. If you have an opportunity to rent or borrow a car, don't miss it, feel the vibe of Jumeirah Road Traffic all the way from Um Suqeim to Al Diyafa road. Enjoy!

Dubai is ok...if u don't have friends living there forget about in local off lincece stores(few of them and not visible) cause the only way u can purchase % is to having drinking license card! the beaches not impressive but very good parties n not really expensive!

Try the 360° bar close to the harbour of the Burj. Very nice especially on Thursday night :-)

Nice beach.. sea of people in their natural habitat. I prefer quiet and desserted beaches.
