Sep 30, 2009 Whole Brighton is really nice. But the area around the Pavillion and the Gardens... They are awesome. It's nice and cosy there, lots of shade and fresh, brisk air - perfect conditions if you want to relax, read a book, or just watch people (and there're some seriously interesting ones, as the Art College is nearby and,in fact, the entire city is filled with students and young people, unlike the grim wheel-and-cane-owners in Eastbourne...) Feb 15, 2012 The town of Brighton is incredible and beautiful. I was there in march I think. The weather was warm enough to enjoy the pier and walk around and see the sites. I didn`t know about the pavilion before hand, I was walking around and noticed the building. breathe taking! If you are in Brighton you have to see this building atleast once. Jul 4, 2010 Built in 1700 just in time for Brighton to become one of Europe seaside resorts.Queen Victoria received this place as a gift but was not satisfied and left.As usual, beautiful palace with many rooms with different furniture and tapestry. Is worth the entrance fee.Plenty to do around the palace. Sep 7, 2009 I'm not really a huge fan of Brighton per se, but if you are visiting it for touristic reasons then this ought to be part of your trip, being an integral part of the history of the city. Pleasant to the eye also, albeit generally surrounded by too many holidaymakers for my liking. Dec 26, 2008 Not really the kind of decoration I might appreciate but really enjoyed the architecture and the history behind it. Every room has its own story, color and shape. It is divinely refined and basically the only important (cultural) attraction you have in Brighton;)
