This famous road intersection is located in London's West End in the City of Westminster. It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly, and now links directly to the theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue, the Haymarket, Coventry Street, and Glasshouse Street.

God save Piccadilly Circus! Jorge Jiménez/Lima, Perú www.periplox.com

too many tourist and pickpockets in Piccadilly Circus...leave the crowds behind, go down Piccadilly and find the royal academy of arts; after the paintings relax with a cup of green tea and japanese sweets at Minamoto Kitchoan and then walk down the road to Fortum & Mason for a browse, have high tea at the Ritz or if you prefer a salty alternative have champagne and caviar at Caviar House and Prunier London...enjoy

A great place to people watch! I like to get off the tube at Piccadilly and walk to all of my favorite places from there, not that they are all close by! From Piccadilly it's easy to get to all of the theatres, it's a short walk to Leicester and Trafalgar Squares, and close enough to Parliament and Westminster. I love walking around cities and this is the perfect starting point in London....just wear comfy shoes!

Coming from a city like Perth.. its wicked to just stand on the veranda out the front of the national museum and watch the water fountain and the people busstling around..

This entire city is amazing and there is always something fantastic to do.. but sometimes its good to be the relaxed one in a sea of busy bodies!

One of the most amazing, lively, active and unbelievably attracting places in the world. It is the show stage of London and the whole world. There are so many night clubs and theaters with the best world's shows on. It is the place DEFINITELY to visit for everybody!! It is an intenational venue of fun.
