Easily one of the best sites in London. The bridge is big and beautiful. It surprised me just how big it really is. The views of the skyline, river, Queen's Walk, Tower of London, everything are just wonderful. It's also surrounded by really nice places along the river to just sit down and relax for a bit, soaking in the view of this astonishing bridge.

It's a bridge across the river Thames that also spans time, going right back through history...while it looks really pretty all lit up at night, when you go inside you can't help remembering what it was originally used for: beheading people who disagreed with the king!

So much history and the people here are wonderful. This city should be at the top of any travelers list. Walking the Thames, Majesty's Palace, trafalgar square, the tower of London. And all is easily accessible via the tube!

I was fortunate enough to be on the bridge when they stoped traffic.It was done in order to permit a bigger ship to pass under it so the two moving parts of the bridge were risen and then lowered again.

Nice to see from afar, but really just a traffic thoroughfare once you get there. The inside is sort of interesting, but there are still much more exciting things to see in London.
