Corfe Castle and the land it was built on, in fact the entire town was given to Sir Ralph de Scoville of Normandy, France for faithfully serving in William the Conqueror's army at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The ruins have undergone several periods of restoration and at the time of writing are not open for public tours.

Now this is what a ruin is supposed to look like. It is now open for public again and there is a well indicated tour around the castle with some good information on the different parts. I absolutly loved it. Next time I'm going over there I'm taking a picknick meal with me.
