A cute little original Tudor street in the middle of York. It is about 1 1/2 metres wide at ground level the second stories seem to lean towards each other across the street. The shops are also tiny. A perfect place to buy a souvenir or meet your ghost walk guide on a frosty night.

Feels like something from a Harry Potter movie, don't miss out on Fudge Kitchen. Sadly it isn't that big, the Shambles is really dense though. There are lot's of great tea-rooms around, etc.

York is a very nice place. It's quite small so the top places are in the walking distance. When you're walking on the streets of York you feel like the time has stopped there.
