Jan 27, 2012 Hello together, I was last august in Edingburgh and there was a lot of nice places, but knwi i will tell you something about arthurs Seat. Do you like walks? do you like a fantastic view? then you are with arthurs seat on the right adress. Arthur's seat is a hill form Holyrod Park. It is situated in the centre of the city of Edingburgh. The hill rises above the city to a height of 250.5 m (822 ft), provides excellent panoramic views of the city, is relatively easy to climb, and is popular. Though it can be climbed from almost any direction, the easiest and simplest ascent is from the east, where a grassy slope rises above Dunsapie Loch. Symbolically that the Scottish parliament has the a building near Arthurs seat. A very beautiful building. View from Arthur seat is fantastic. One can see that Edinburgh is strap three hills and river Esk kindly offered their services to ships. Nothing else much memory is left as the first hill and the view from it. Edinburgh is a place which is definitely a must see. Unless you want to feel the royal presence in everything. From the mountains and castles and ending with whiskey. Jun 2, 2008 Arthur's Seat is the main peak on a group of hills on the southeastern side of Edinburgh, and it overlooks the Old Town from a height of roughly 820 feet. For a nice climb, I recommend coming from the western side ( but several paths from all sides of the hills can take you to the top ) It is a perfect escape destination with amazing views. Apr 22, 2012 great hike, takes some time. it was super windy at the top but great views. wear comfortable shoes, take a water bottle and a fully charged camera. there are no washrooms or anything at the top so if you need anything bring it with you. It was a very un-even, rocky path and felt like you were walking straight up but the top is very rewarding with the views. Oct 7, 2009 This is truly one of my favorite spots anywhere. On our last visit, my wife and I, along with some friends, had a wonderful outing here. It is a majestic, almost magical, setting. It was a most fabulous location to enjoy a picnic lunch and enjoy the natural beauty of our surroundings. Good Journeys!
