Great place to hang out. You can see Edinburgh Castle from there. There is also someone playing the bag pipes all the time making a great atmosphere. Shopping on one side, the park on the other. There is also a couple of monuments and a great fountain there as well as the Art Gallery!

A great place to enjoy the view of Edinburgh Castle. It's worth it to take a look at the Scott Monument. It has a series of viewing decks reached by a series of narrow spiral staircases (~280 steps) with great views of central Edinburgh.

Very beautiful place for walking. Good to relax. If you are visiting Edinburgh for a short trip, don't miss the Scott Monument and definitely climb up to it. You'll get a good observation of the Gardens and Edinburgh itself.

Within the gardens, along the south side of Princes Street are many statues and monuments. Most prominent is the gothic Scott Monument built in 1844 to honour Sir Walter Scott.

A nice park where you can stroll next to the beautifull flowers and trees. You can take a rest on the many benches while you have an excellent view on Edinburgh Castle.
