A very beautiful garden, open since 1820. The botanical collection is very rich, I spent a whole day walking the alleys and exploring the gardens. I especially like the Palm House, built in 1858: the building is very elegant and they say it's the tallest one in Britain.

A wonderful place to relax and it is very interesting. You can find a huge range of various crops. A few squirrel are around this place and you can see a lot of butterflies in the summer. Enjoy it :)

A wonderful city to explore from Edinburgh Castle down the Royal Mile to Holyrood. Grassmarket for a few ales. Princes Street for shopping. Edinburgh is full of history yet remains a lively city.

Easy to reach with the bus and outside the city centre. It is a beautiful garden where you can walk for hours, there are also two greenhouses where you find numerous of exotic plants.

This is a fantastic garden and definitely rivals the Kew Gardens in London. It's a perfect place to spend a day out of the city...bring a picnic and you're all set!
