Cott is easily the best beach in Perth- enough people to be interesting but quiet enough that you can find a patch of sand (or grass all to yourself). If you're in Perth pick up a dinner of fish and chips from one of the local places and watch the sun go down over the ocean. It's a great way to spend a night!

Best beach in the world... no doubts! The surf club is near the beach and it houses food outlets and a restaurant. The sand is very fine and white, the water clear and the waves are good for learning to surf and body surf in. Seriously cool suburb.

This is a very nice beach very close to Perth and very easy to access with public transport. I loved it in the afternoon after a day spent in the city or in the late afternoon watching the sunset.
