Snowdonia National Park is the second biggest national park in Great Britain, after the Lake District National Park.  The highlight of the park is 3,560 ft tall Mount Snowdon, which occupies a good portion of the north side of the park.  Visitors can either take a day hike up Snowdon or use the Snowdon Mountain Railway.  Either way the rewards are one of the finest panoramic views in Great Britain.  Elsewhere in the park are a number of villages that are located amidst stunning scenery such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert as well as slate quarrying and copper mine exhibitions.

Snowdonia Mountain is a sight to behold. North Wales itself is very beautiful.
