Alaska is really an amazing place to travel......last year I visited Alaska and I found Breckenridge very unique. Its soooo beautiful. There I enjoyed a lot and had fun of exploration of different destinations. The beauty of Breck is that it was a 19th century mining town before it was a ski town. It is loaded with western Victorian architecture, character and characters. The shops on Main St. are friendly and approachable. It lacks the glitz and style of Vail or Aspen (which to me is a good thing) and has none of the false feel or attitudes of those resorts.
