Sep 17, 2010 Mount Roberts Tramway is expensive, but it's a good way to get a great view of Juneau. It's $27 for an adult tram ticket (for unlimited rides up and down for a day), and at the top is an observation deck and other exhibits. A good way to see the lookout point if you've got the energy and want to save some money would be to hike up to the top of Mount Roberts via the Mount Roberts trail. It's 2 miles long with about a 3,000 foot elevation gain, but at that point it's only $5 to take the tram back down (or free if you purchase $5 worth of food or other things in the gift shop). It's definitely a great vantage point so worth seeing in some form or another! Apr 19, 2012 Great views and hiking on a non-foggy day, but don't eat at the restaurant. Check out the faces carved on the trees on the trail close to the building. Related Links
