I would only suggest the SeaLife Center if you have children and need to kill some time in Seward. The basic cost is $20 per adult and the place is really small! I did enjoy the sea lion training demonstration (even though it was brief) and touching the starfish. The bird area smells so awful we RAN out! You can pay to have an encounter with a seal or sea lion but the cost is around $80 per person and sells out quickly. We toured the whole place in under an hour and definitely felt that it wasn't worth $40 bucks.

really enjoyed the presentations and the way that the animals are there for rehabiliatation and eventual release if possible. It was a place for all ages to recieve an education about native AK marine life.

Very nice and modern marine center but I thought it was expensive and kind of small. Great if you have kids, but take a good tour out into the bay to see the same animals (and more) in their natural habitat.

This is an entertaining and interesting exhibit. It is family oriented and a good place to spend an afternoon. Seward is a great location for this center. Good Journeys!

Pretty awesome visit for the kids and with the unpredictable Alaska weather, makes for a great alernate if weather prevents Exit Glacier or a Kenai Fjords cruise from being viable.
