Granted there are much fewer rides at this park, in my opinion those few rides are my favorite out of the two parks combined. The Tower of Terror...I can't even describe the feeling when you go on this ride. It is a rush you don't get from any roller coaster. Looking out the window across the park and suddenly dropping with your feet and arms flying in the air. And soaring over California has a certain place in the heart of us Californians. I get to fly above the places I grew up in and visited as a child and smell the similar scents. Amazing..

Some people say this park is boring. Realize that it isn't "Disneyland" and you'll still have an amazing Disney experience. The whole park is themed around different California regions. Sip some wine next to a vineyard, watch Tortillas being made, eat some clam chowder next to the ocean, hike through redwoods, or walk around Hollywood. There aren't as many rides as Disneyland, but there is still definitely enough for a fun-filled day for people of all ages.

i had a blast at california adventure park. dare i say it's even better than disneyland?? -gaspz- they are both related anyways. i guess california adventure park had more "proper rides" compared to the ones next door at disneyland. i can't remember the name of the roller coaster but it's by the pier and it freakin' shoots you up without any warnin' and the drop is almost 80 degrees?? madness!! cool rides with still hints of disney around.

The first thing that comes to mind when you hear Anaheim is of course DISNEYLAND! Both Disneyland and Cal Adventures are both great parks. California Adventure is a bit smaller and (when i went) has less crowds. The midway is the best there , great games and prizes. If your staying in Anaheim, don't get a rental. Most hotels offer free shuttle service to and from the parks.

Its pretty good but there are some rides that are really fun and there are some rides that are kind of boring. But overall I would rate it a 4 out of 5 stars. Kids would enjoy Disneyland more but adults will enjoy California Adventure more.
