Disneyland is my all time favorite! Living in Las Vegas my whole life, my mom and I usually take 2-5 trips a year until I turned 26! I love Disneyland and never ever get bored of it! It is the happiest place on earth! Space Mountain is one of my all time favorites, with Pirates of the Carribean being a close 2nd! One of the reasons I LOVE Pirates (not because of the movie) is because it's a long right, underground, and it's cool.. so you get to sit and let your feet rest, while you cool off! Thanks!

I think the best time to go to Disneyland is when the park is decorated for the holidays. It's my favorite place to get in the mood for Halloween and Christmas. The decorations are top rate (like everything done at Disneyland) and some of the characters are dressed up for the season. Yes, the park is more crowded the closer it gets to the specific holiday, but the park is decorated for over a month. Unless you have no other choice, never go the week between Christmas and New Years (it's beyond packed and almost reaches the point of not being fun). Go early in the season, it won't be as busy and it's a blast!

Plan your fricken trip before you go. Use Fastpasses. Use the single rider lines. Check for ride closures. Measure your kids' heights. Buy the AAA package and get unlimited Fastpasses. Visit during the off season. Don't go on summer weekends, New Years, Columbus day weekend, or especially Christmas eve/day. Eat churros and dole whip. See Fantasmic! behind the black light fixture. Arrive at least 15 minutes before park opening, and go straight to Splash Mountain or Indy. Last but not least, be nice to Cast Members.

Disneyland is definitely a place I recommend you go. Even if you don't go anywhere else. It is absolutely fantastic. Everything is made in theme down to the smallest detail and they have not missed a thing. I went when I was 21, so it's not a place just for kids. I had so much fun. I went during the week and we didn't have to wait long at all to go on each ride. It didn't cost much either, I think it was about $120 for a two day pass, all inclusive. Wonderful and magical, it really is! Love it.
